Painted cast vinyl multiple, 2010, from the edition of 500, with the fabricator, artist's name, date and 'Warner Bros Entertainment Inc.' stamped on the underside, produced by Medicom Toy and OriginalFake, Tokyo, housed in the original box, 237 x 170 x 110m (9 3/8 x 6 5/8 x 4 3/8in); together with 'Warm Regards (Pink)', painted cast vinyl multiple, 2008, from the edition of an unknown size, with the fabricator, artist's name and date verso, produced by OriginalFake, Tokyo, housed in the original box, 167 x 90 x 25mm (6 5/8 x 3 1/2 x 1in)(Multiples)(2)

Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints & Multiples OnlineDavid Shrigley & Co at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, which included the work Tweety (Black); Warm Regards (Pink) by Kaws. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,477.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples OnlineDavid Shrigley & Co at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tweety (Black); Warm Regards (Pink) von Kaws zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.477,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
