Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tweety (Black); Warm Regards (Pink) by Kaws was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,275 (€ 2,134) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as GBP 1,000 - 1,500. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000 (€ 6,615,255).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tweety (Black); Warm Regards (Pink) von Kaws kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.275 (€ 2.134) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000 – 1.500 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000 (€ 6.615.255).
