Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, from Bad Boys by Keith Haring was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in June last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,916.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,500.00 – 8,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Haring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, from Bad Boys von Keith Haring kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.916,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.500,00 – 8.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Haring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
