Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Mount Fuji by Kinichiro Ishikawa was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of HKD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for HKD 11,250.00 (€ 1,304.79). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kinichiro Ishikawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Of Taiwan(Painted In 1926) in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 472,000.00 (€ 51,949.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Mount Fuji von Kinichiro Ishikawa im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für HKD 11.250,00 (€ 1.304,79) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kinichiro Ishikawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Of Taiwan(Painted In 1926) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 472.000,00 (€ 51.949,18).
