Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work G 8 by László Moholy-Nagy was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,212,500.00 (€ 1,019,078.84). Admittedly, works by László Moholy-Nagy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Em 1 Telephonbild (Em 1 Telephone Picture) in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 6,087,500.00 (€ 5,754,868.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit G 8 von László Moholy-Nagy kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.212.500,00 (€ 1.019.078,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von László Moholy-Nagy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Em 1 Telephonbild (Em 1 Telephone Picture) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.087.500,00 (€ 5.754.868,60).
