Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Laura Grisi could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open: Summer Edition auction, the work Pebbles changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,400.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Laura Grisi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Racing Cars. in February 2016 with an auction result of EUR 5,625.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Laura Grisi konnte im Juli 2014 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open: Summer Edition wechselte die Arbeit Pebbles für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.400,30) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Laura Grisi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Racing Cars. im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.625,00.
