Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nana the Astro-Basic Version; & Nana the Astro-Sitting Version by Lee Kyoung-mi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,286.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lee Kyoung-mi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Standing Astronaut Nana, which sold at auction in March 2017 for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,526.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nana the Astro-Basic Version; & Nana the Astro-Sitting Version von Lee Kyoung-mi kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.286,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lee Kyoung-mi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Standing Astronaut Nana beobachtet, die im März 2017 für HKD 87.500,00 (€ 10.526,50) versteigert wurde.
