Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Leonid Berman could be acquired at Bonhams in January this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Discovery on Sunset auction, the work Pêcheurs de mers dans le Vidourle 19 3/4 x 32in (50.2 x 81.3cm) changed hands for USD 114.75 (€ 105.68) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonid Berman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diabolo Players in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 17,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leonid Berman konnte im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Discovery on Sunset wechselte die Arbeit Pêcheurs de mers dans le Vidourle 19 3/4 x 32in (50.2 x 81.3cm) für USD 114,75 (€ 105,68) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonid Berman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diabolo Players im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.640,00.
