Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2005 Christies in Paris held the auction DESSINS ANCIENS ET DU 19EME SIECLE, which included the work Les Époux Heureux by Louis Léopold Boilly. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 26,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 26,400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Léopold Boilly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The entrance to the Turkish Garden Café in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 4,562,500.00 (€ 3,289,473.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2005 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion DESSINS ANCIENS ET DU 19EME SIECLE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Époux Heureux von Louis Léopold Boilly zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 26.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 26.400,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Léopold Boilly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The entrance to the Turkish Garden Café im Januar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.562.500,00 (€ 3.289.473,68).
