Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Valtat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Madame Valtat et son fils im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 726.650.
