This artwork by Lucio Fontana achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2013. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Madonna sold for GBP 28,750.00 (€ 34,366.18) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucio Fontana achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Concetto Spaziale, La Fine Di Dio in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 29,173,000.00 (€ 27,620,715.77).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucio Fontana erzielte im September 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Madonna für GBP 28.750,00 (€ 34.366,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucio Fontana erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Concetto Spaziale, La Fine Di Dio im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 29.173.000,00 (€ 27.620.715,77).
