Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lucy Kemp-Welch could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs auction, the work Apple Tree By A Lake; And The Camp Fire changed hands for GBP 90.00 (€ 133.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucy Kemp-Welch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cart horses on the Downs in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 37,045.00 (€ 57,300.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucy Kemp-Welch konnte im November 2006 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs wechselte die Arbeit Apple Tree By A Lake; And The Camp Fire für GBP 90,00 (€ 133,65) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00.
