Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Montovolo Pinealitaltrove by Luigi Ontani was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 27,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Luigi Ontani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ibridoli in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,000.00 (€ 120,629.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Montovolo Pinealitaltrove von Luigi Ontani wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 27.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Ontani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ibridoli im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.000,00 (€ 120.629,53).
