Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Barque or Barca by Luis Fernández was worth EUR 37,800.00 to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction Collection André Mourgues, Alexandre Iolas et ses artistes at Sothebys in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Luis Fernández; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Petite marine ou Marine grise sold at auction in October 2018 with the realized price of EUR 75,000.00.

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Collection André Mourgues, Alexandre Iolas et ses artistes bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
