Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Luis Fernández achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March last year. In the Collection André Mourgues, Alexandre Iolas et ses artistes auction, the work Deux colombes sold for EUR 47,880.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Luis Fernández; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Petite marine ou Marine grise sold at auction in October 2018 with the realized price of EUR 75,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luis Fernández erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection André Mourgues, Alexandre Iolas et ses artistes wurde die Arbeit Deux colombes für EUR 47.880,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Luis Fernández; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Petite marine ou Marine grise im Oktober 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 75.000,00.
