Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Sequined Antler)(Peter Norton Family Christmas Project) by Marc Swanson for USD 1,125.00 (€ 952.34). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Paul F. Walter at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Swanson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Black Full Sneak) in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 45,000.00 (€ 33,748.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Sequined Antler)(Peter Norton Family Christmas Project) von Marc Swanson für USD 1.125,00 (€ 952,34) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Collection of Paul F. Walter bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Swanson erzielen.
