Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Amor vincet omnia by Marie-Jo Lafontaine was auctioned at Ketterer in Munich in June 2011. Here, the estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,750.00. Admittedly, works by Marie-Jo Lafontaine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Monochromes Rouges in June this year with an auction result of EUR 63,000.00.
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Amor vincet omnia von Marie-Jo Lafontaine kam im Juni 2011 bei Ketterer in München zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marie-Jo Lafontaine auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Monochromes Rouges im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 63.000,00.
