Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction The Swiss Fine Art Sale, which included the work Trois jeunes filles, 1954 by Marie Laurencin. Here, the upper estimate of CHF 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CHF 20,160.00 (€ 19,474.23). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marie Laurencin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme aux tulipes in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 462,181.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion The Swiss Fine Art Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trois jeunes filles, 1954 von Marie Laurencin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CHF 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CHF 20.160,00 (€ 19.474,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marie Laurencin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme aux tulipes im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 462.181,65).
