Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Role Exchange by Marina Abramović was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 27,500.00 (€ 19,717.50). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marina Abramović achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Life in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 287,500.00 (€ 319,244.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Role Exchange von Marina Abramović kam im Oktober 2011 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 27.500,00 (€ 19.717,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marina Abramović erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Life im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 287.500,00 (€ 319.244,23).
