Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Piccola cariatide by Mario Negri for USD 2,629.00 (€ 2,113.17). This price was achieved in the auction IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN ART at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Negri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tutta una vita insieme in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Piccola cariatide von Mario Negri für USD 2.629,00 (€ 2.113,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN ART bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Negri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tutta una vita insieme im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
