Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composizione con figure (I profeti) by Mario Sironi was auctioned at Christies in Milan in December last year. The price achieved of EUR 11,970.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Sironi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paesaggio Con Tempio in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 826,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composizione con figure (I profeti) von Mario Sironi kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.970,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Sironi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paesaggio Con Tempio im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 826.500,00.
