Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Koller held the auction PostWar & Contemporary, which included the work Ohne Titel. 2001. by Mark Francis. The price achieved of CHF 3,750.00 (€ 3,622.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Francis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Symbiosis (Mesh) in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 32,450.00 (€ 41,228.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Koller die Auktion PostWar & Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ohne Titel. 2001. von Mark Francis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 3.750,00 (€ 3.622,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Francis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Symbiosis (Mesh) im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.450,00 (€ 41.228,09).
