Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction More, which included the work Bureau Dit "Boomerang" - Création 1969 by Maurice Calka. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 23,400.00 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Calka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Fiberglass 'Boomerang' Desk And Leather Upholstered Swivel Chair, Circa 1969 in December 2007 with an auction result of USD 481,000.00 (€ 329,384.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion More durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bureau Dit "Boomerang" - Création 1969 von Maurice Calka zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 23.400,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Calka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Fiberglass 'Boomerang' Desk And Leather Upholstered Swivel Chair, Circa 1969 im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 481.000,00 (€ 329.384,37).
