Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Rue Saint-Rustique à Montmartre by Maurice Utrillo. The price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 68,288.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Utrillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rue Saint-Rustique à Montmartre von Maurice Utrillo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 68.288,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
