In the The Surrealist World of Rosalind Gersten Jacobs & Melvin Jacobs Online Sale auction, the work Vue de ma fenêtre sold for USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,522.50) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Ernst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le roi jouant avec la reine in November last year with an auction result of USD 24,435,000.00 (€ 23,670,444.64).
