Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Koller held the auction Impressionismus & Moderne, which included the work Le sentier du hameau. Um 1890. by Maxime Maufra. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 7,500.00 (€ 7,675.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maxime Maufra achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Vent in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 266,500.00 (€ 198,097.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Koller die Auktion Impressionismus & Moderne durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le sentier du hameau. Um 1890. von Maxime Maufra zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 7.500,00 (€ 7.675,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maxime Maufra erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Vent im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 266.500,00 (€ 198.097,08).
