The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Uomo che guarda un negativo (Man Looking at a Negative) in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 3,721,250.00 (€ 4,242,953.40).

Die Arbeit La gabbia von Michelangelo Pistoletto kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 13.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michelangelo Pistoletto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Uomo che guarda un negativo (Man Looking at a Negative) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.721.250,00 (€ 4.242.953,40).
