Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Moïse Kisling could be acquired at Christies in New York in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Narcisses changed hands for USD 75,000.00 (€ 72,653.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Moïse Kisling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Course de taureaux in June this year with an auction result of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Moïse Kisling konnte im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Narcisses für USD 75.000,00 (€ 72.653,30) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moïse Kisling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Course de taureaux im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 472.500,00 (€ 549.908,65).
