This artwork by Mr. Doodle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in April this year. In the NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale auction, the work Pop Heart – Bird Joy, Unlocked Heart, Holding Hand, Bug Embrace, Lovers Cuddle (Set of Five Works) sold for HKD 94,500.00 (€ 96,502.99) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mr. Doodle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Big Kitty in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mr. Doodle erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Pop Heart – Bird Joy, Unlocked Heart, Holding Hand, Bug Embrace, Lovers Cuddle (Set of Five Works) für HKD 94.500,00 (€ 96.502,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mr. Doodle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Big Kitty im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
