This artwork by Niki de Saint Phalle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2001. In the Post War Art (Day sale) auction, the work Nana Et Chien sold for GBP 30,550.00 (€ 50,749.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Niki de Saint Phalle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nana Danseuse Noire (Grande Danseuse Negresse) - Circa 1968 in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 961,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Niki de Saint Phalle erzielte im Juni 2001 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War Art (Day sale) wurde die Arbeit Nana Et Chien für GBP 30.550,00 (€ 50.749,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Niki de Saint Phalle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nana Danseuse Noire (Grande Danseuse Negresse) - Circa 1968 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 961.500,00.
