It changed hands for a price of CNY 114,000.00 (€ 14,625.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CNY 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ou Shengchun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A HUANGHUALI DECK CHAIR, TANGYI in September 2018 with an auction result of CNY 504,000.00 (€ 63,140.94).

Die Arbeit A Pair Of Round-Corner Cabinets, Yuanjiaogui von Ou Shengchun wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai: Living With Art bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CNY 114.000,00 (€ 14.625,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 80.000,00 – 120.000,00.
