The work Convict by Ouyang Chun was worth HKD 214,200.00 (€ 23,816.87) to a buyer in November 2021. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction at Phillips in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ouyang Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gold Crown and Silver Crown in October this year with an auction result of HKD 6,600,000.00 (€ 798,145.34).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ouyang Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gold Crown and Silver Crown im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.600.000,00 (€ 798.145,34).
