This artwork by Pablo Picasso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2010. In the Impressionist/Modern Works on Paper auction, the work Composition sold for GBP 67,250.00 (€ 81,782.26) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Picasso erzielte im Juni 2010 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist/Modern Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Composition für GBP 67.250,00 (€ 81.782,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
