Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature morte au guéridon by Pablo Picasso was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper auction at Christies in New York in May 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,124.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Die Arbeit Nature morte au guéridon von Pablo Picasso wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 100.124,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 90.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
