Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pablo Picasso could be acquired at Christies in Paris in March 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Oeuvres modernes sur papier auction, the work Pianiste changed hands for EUR 79,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Picasso konnte im März 2015 bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Oeuvres modernes sur papier wechselte die Arbeit Pianiste für EUR 79.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
