Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Akte mit Leiter (Nudes with Ladder) by Paul Klee was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Cologne in September 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Klee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bunte Landschaft in November last year with an auction result of USD 4,860,000.00 (€ 4,707,933.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Akte mit Leiter (Nudes with Ladder) von Paul Klee wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Köln versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Klee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bunte Landschaft im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.860.000,00 (€ 4.707.933,74).
