Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper, which included the work Baum am Bach (Construction by the Brook) by Paul Klee. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 71,175.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Klee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bunte Landschaft in November last year with an auction result of USD 4,860,000.00 (€ 4,707,933.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baum am Bach (Construction by the Brook) von Paul Klee zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 71.175,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Klee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bunte Landschaft im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.860.000,00 (€ 4.707.933,74).
