Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fontainen-Baum, 1939 by Paul Klee was sold in the The Swiss Fine Art Sale auction at Sothebys in Zurich in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of CHF 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CHF 35,280.00 (€ 34,079.89). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Klee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bunte Landschaft in November last year with an auction result of USD 4,860,000.00 (€ 4,707,933.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fontainen-Baum, 1939 von Paul Klee wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion The Swiss Fine Art Sale bei Sothebys in Zürich versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CHF 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CHF 35.280,00 (€ 34.079,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Klee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bunte Landschaft im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.860.000,00 (€ 4.707.933,74).
