Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pete Turner could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Selected Color Images changed hands for USD 3,125.00 (€ 2,117.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pete Turner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Selected Color Images', which sold at auction in March 2009 for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,713.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pete Turner konnte im Oktober 2009 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Selected Color Images für USD 3.125,00 (€ 2.117,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pete Turner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Selected Color Images' beobachtet, die im März 2009 für USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.713,07) versteigert wurde.
