Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Peter Schuyff. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,075.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Schuyff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in July 2017 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,564.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Schuyff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.075,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Schuyff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juli 2017 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.564,69) versteigert wurde.
