Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Milan held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale, which included the work Carta segreta I by Piero Dorazio. The price achieved of EUR 126,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Piero Dorazio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Troppo segreto, 1961 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 819,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Carta segreta I von Piero Dorazio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 126.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piero Dorazio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Troppo segreto, 1961 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 819.000,00.
