Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Marthe au chapeau blanc by Pierre Bonnard for GBP 88,200.00 (€ 104,571.03). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Bonnard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Terrasse Ou Une Terrasse À Grasse in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 19,570,000.00 (€ 17,553,143.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Marthe au chapeau blanc von Pierre Bonnard für GBP 88.200,00 (€ 104.571,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Bonnard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Terrasse Ou Une Terrasse À Grasse im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.570.000,00 (€ 17.553.143,78).
