Auction result well in line with expectations
The work “Contrast” by Poul Henningsen was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in November this year. It changed hands for a price of DKK 11,500.00 (€ 1,542.40) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of DKK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Poul Henningsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A rare 'Spiral' ceiling light in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 106,893.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit “Contrast” von Poul Henningsen kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von DKK 11.500,00 (€ 1.542,40) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Poul Henningsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A rare 'Spiral' ceiling light im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 106.893,35).
