Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2008 Christies in London held the auction Post War & Contemporary ArtDay Sale(Afternoon), which included the work Rapsfeld by Rainer Fetting. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,645.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rainer Fetting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rotes Mauerbild [Red Wall Picture|AID701315] in May last year with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 234,833.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post War & Contemporary ArtDay Sale(Afternoon) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rapsfeld von Rainer Fetting zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.645,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rainer Fetting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rotes Mauerbild [Red Wall Picture|AID701315] im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 234.833,66).
