Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work In The Garden by Robert Warren Dash was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 1,250.00 (€ 964.66). Admittedly, works by Robert Warren Dash have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dull Spring II in July 2014 with an auction result of USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,920.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit In The Garden von Robert Warren Dash im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 1.250,00 (€ 964,66) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Warren Dash auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dull Spring II im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.920,84).
