Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Untitled 1961 by Roger Hilton was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in April 2017. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,156.31), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Hilton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work December 1960 in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 241,219.11).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Untitled 1961 von Roger Hilton wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.156,31) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Hilton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit December 1960 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 241.219,11).
