In February 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist /Modern Art, which included the work Les Musiciens by Sacha Moldovan. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,404.04), 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sacha Moldovan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nature morte avec les fruit et fleurs, which sold at auction in September 2008 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,754.42).

Im Februar 2009 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist /Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Musiciens von Sacha Moldovan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.404,04) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Sacha Moldovan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nature morte avec les fruit et fleurs beobachtet, die im September 2008 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.754,42) versteigert wurde.
