Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Spanish the Blue Courtyard, Arenys by Santiago Rusiñol i Prats. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 205,250.00 (€ 252,847.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Santiago Rusiñol i Prats have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work Glorieta de cipreses del Jardín del Príncipe, Aranjuez (The gardens at Aranjuez) was auctioned for GBP 216,000.00 (€ 320,533.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish the Blue Courtyard, Arenys von Santiago Rusiñol i Prats zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 205.250,00 (€ 252.847,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Santiago Rusiñol i Prats konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2007 die Arbeit Glorieta de cipreses del Jardín del Príncipe, Aranjuez (The gardens at Aranjuez) für GBP 216.000,00 (€ 320.533,14) versteigert.
