Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Selim Turan was sold in the Contemporary Art 1 auction at Artcurial in Paris in May 2011. The price achieved of EUR 35,236.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Selim Turan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 198,450.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Selim Turan wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 1 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 35.236,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Selim Turan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 198.450,00.
