Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Women of Allah Series (I Am Its Secret) by Shirin Neshat was sold in the Contemporary Passions auction at Sothebys in Cologne in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,820.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shirin Neshat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Passage in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 269,000.00 (€ 214,684.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Women of Allah Series (I Am Its Secret) von Shirin Neshat wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Passions bei Sothebys in Köln versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.820,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shirin Neshat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Passage im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 269.000,00 (€ 214.684,76).
