Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, 1982 by Sigmar Polke was sold in the The Swiss Fine Art Sale auction at Sothebys in Zurich in December 2021. The price achieved of CHF 113,400.00 (€ 109,542.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sigmar Polke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dschungel (Jungle) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 27,130,000.00 (€ 24,677,096.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, 1982 von Sigmar Polke wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion The Swiss Fine Art Sale bei Sothebys in Zürich versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 113.400,00 (€ 109.542,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sigmar Polke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dschungel (Jungle) im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.130.000,00 (€ 24.677.096,60).
